About Asia Center Foundation (ACF)
Who We Are
Asia Center Foundation (ACF) is a local grassroots, independent Christian charity, registered as a Non-Government Organisation (NGO) on Phuket island, Thailand since 2001.
Since its establishment, Asia Center Foundation has been a beacon of hope to the disadvantaged community on Phuket island, Thailand. As an independent, local grassroots charity organization, ACF is dedicated to making a profound difference in the lives of disadvantaged and at-risk Thai and Burmese children.
Through a range of educational initiatives and projects, ACF’s mission is to create a safe educational space where young individuals in at-risk and poverty situations are provided with the tools and opportunities needed to transform their futures.
Education as Empowerment
At the heart of ACF’s mission is the belief that education is the key factor to create change. By providing education opportunities to underprivileged children, ACF aims to break the cycle of poverty and empower young minds to change their futures. Through various programs, ACF ensures that education reaches those who need it most.
Holistic Approach to Community Development
ACF recognizes that the needs of vulnerable families and children extend beyond the classroom. To address these multifaceted challenges, ACF takes a holistic approach, encompassing various facets of community development.

WHAT WE DO
PRIMARY SCHOOL BUILDING PROJECT
ACF has provided early childhood education to disadvantaged children since 2002. In 2017 the Cornerstone Early Childhood Education Center was built on donated land, and currently we are continuing our quest to provide quality primary school education in English to less fortunate Thai and Burmese children.
We are building two Primary Education Learning Centers and plan to follow the School of Tomorrow (ACE) primary school curriculum
SCHOLARSHIP SUPPORT PROGRAM
The program provides financial assistance to children to go to school and encouragement to families facing financial and social problems. Since 2005 ACF has sponsored more than 700 children from primary and high school level with long term scholarships.
Scholarship support can be used towards school and sport uniforms, school fees, stationery, transportation, school bags and shoes, and lunch at school.
CORNERSTONE COMMUNITY CHURCH
ACF addresses the spiritual, physical and emergency needs of parents and adults in the community through regular church meetings and family activities managed by Cornerstone Community Church. A Sunday school program is available for children as well.
Cornerstone Community Church became a member of the Thailand Baptist Convention in 2022. Since the formation of CCC in 2021, 12 people have been baptised.
LIFE SKILLS, SPORTS & MENTORSHIP PROGRAM
ACF focuses on mentoring and empowering children on the scholarship program by developing self confidence and leadership in primary and high school children through various activities and opportunities.
This includes weekly Youth group meetings where children have access to learn more about The 7 Habits of Effective Teenagers, sport opportunities like football and rugby coaching as well as opportunities to learn to play a musical instrument are also provided.
EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION PROGRAM
More than 50 disadvantaged Thai and Burmese children attend Cornerstone Learning Center and are provided with early childhood education, food, transport to and from the center, basic medical care and access to a number of life skill opportunities such as sport, art and music.
The center serves children from single-parent, low-income, and at-risk families, providing them with essential care, support, and opportunities for a brighter future.
SHELTER AND ACCOMMODATION
Since 2007 ACF has managed full care shelter which provides up to 10 children with a safe home environment. Children are cared for by a Thai house parent couple who ensure their daily program includes going to school, having access to healthy food, and provides emotional support, guidance and structure which is lacking in the children’s own family situations.
Pre-, primary and high school children live together in the shelter.
